This has been a huge year for me. I have a lot to be grateful for this season with Bravo and the milestones are sweet indeed. I have been very focused and I’m proud of my accomplishments.
Heres a look back at all that I did this past season.
I received an NY State Citation for my entrepreneurial lifestyle brand, use of media and philanthropic endeavors.
I was thrilled that Andy invited me to come to Austin, Texas for the SXSW Watch What Happens Live special. I performed my Caburlesque and of course “kept it weird in Austin”.
Letting Aviva know what all the girls had to say about her while in Montana. Gearing up for leg gate at my Team Sonja “Attitude of Gratitude Party” at Le Cirque which was reality TV history.
On the finale night #TeamSonja won the Mazel of the Day on WWHL with Andy Cohen.
Had a fantastic time brushing up my acting and comedy skills starring in the Alexander Wang short as Amanda the high powered publicist to Chris Kattan aka Mango the legendary SNL star.
Ramona and I weathered the season.
Threw THE cast after party at Jamie’s Place which was attended by all my Co-stars, all of Team Sonja, Prince Borghese, and Carmen Carrera.
Was one of the five housewives chosen to be a part of the NBC Upfront billboard.
Andy Cohen requested Lisa Vanderpump and me to be at the first wedding he officiated on WWHL.
John Oliver specifically requested me to be on Watch What Happens Live with him for Andy Cohen’s five year Anniversary!
Was a guest star for NCC Media at The Morgan Library with Barry Weiss of Storage Wars and Dean Norris of Breaking Bad
Was honored to be in the Summer by Bravo Commercial! Pictured here with Lisa Vanderpump. Had a blast together.
Appeared on Bethenny along with Countess LuAnn for a mini RHONY reunion.
Made my second appearance on Bethenny. Discussed the Ten Commandments of Girlfriends with Alycia Cooper, Renee Graziano, and Coco Austin.
Was a presenter on VH1′s Gossip Table at The Gossie Awards.
At The NCC Media Cable Upfront Showcase with “Tig” of ‘Sons of Anarchy’ Kim Coates
Back to my Caburlesque performance as seen on RHONY
Thank you for watching and holding my hand the whole season.
I couldn’t have done it with out you.
Here are some fun Sonjaisms to leave you with and a link to my interview with Economist Magazine at Nasdaq with the Deputy Chair discussing my businesses.
Sonja was recently honored by Inspired In New York for her accomplishments and contributions in the field of media, arts, entertainment, business and philanthropy. Organized by the wonderful Von Boozier Twins VBTE Events (Sonja In The City took a rest!), the evening took place at the chic venue The Griffin in the West Village.

She received the proclamation from the State of New York which says: “a great state is only as great as those persons who give exemplary service to their community and society, whether through keen business strategies, through unique in their professional or other endeavors or simply through a lifetime of good citizenry.”

Ms Morgan is honored as a “business role model, who approached plans conservatively in order to maximize her final value, adds sensibility to her brands and proves time after time that you can achieve great style while still saving time and money.” Further citing her Philanthropy it states: ” a long-time supporter of the arts, she has been lauded for her philanthropic achievements, dedicated time and money to helping LGBT Youth and sits on many boards and foundations whose efforts vastly improve the lives of New Yorkers every day.”

The award cited her personal achievement for her contributions as an innovator and trendsetter in the arts, media and entertainment industries. Sonja was happy to have her dear friends, The Fabulous Beekman Boys – Dr. Brent Ridge and Josh Kilmer-Purcell – who she considers to be achievers of same, present her with the award.

Ms. Morgan threw a Sonja In The City engagement party shorty for Brent and Josh after MENY (Marriage Equality New York) passed. They recently tied the knot in Upstate NY where they film their show, The Fabulous Beekman Boys, which airs on Planet Green. The boys gave a lovely speech about being neighbors in Manhattan with Sonja, their friendship, love of tradition, fabulous escapades, and their memories of cooking together which was very moving to all. Even Phillip Bloch, stylist to John Travolta and Halle Berry, showed up to support his friend Sonja. He and Sonja are fellow crusaders for the cure for HIV/AIDS.

When you first arrive at the Majestic Canyon Ranch in the Berkshires this is what you see. With the first view you immediately relax because you feel the history.
It takes you back in time to another era before the Internet, social media, and the craziness we live in today.
When I arrived to my room there is a beautiful fruit basket, fabulous healthy snacks and just look at the view from my room!
First thing I want to do is get some rest and leave my windows open for fresh air. I’m back home in the Berkshires!
The next morning I headed to spin class and I passed by the tennis courts. I think if I come back here with my guy he can’t complain because he can play tennis while I do my girly workouts, but believe me, there’s kayaking, hiking, biking and more activities. Look at the schedule, it is all included and they have additional things you can sign up for for a small fee.
I ran into these roller things and I have had tightness in my shoulder for the last year, acupuncture healers gave some relief but I have never had the release I needed until I rolled out my IT bands in my thighs like I did with these things.
After my workout I like to sit by the pool or by this fabulous water fountain and of course no cell phones are allowed. Even I find that difficult but it’s just what the doctor ordered.
Then I’m off to see Billy Baudreau who is my favorite most animated chef in the world. He has a captivated audience at Canyon Ranch every lunch and dinner where he shares recipes as well. Here in this picture you see the Canyon Ranch dietitian Crissy Garner and his fabulous assistant Slav.
Bowl of Billy’s famous quinoa salad. He shows you how to use all your “leftovers” because anyone who knows me knows nothing is a leftover. I cook extra in advance so that I have leftovers. Billy and I are on the same page when it comes to cooking in the toaster oven, he has two convection ovens. As do I! (Not counting the ones in the basement) He and I both agree it’s not about being the fanciest chef with the most difficult unattainable recipes, it’s about making sure everything is there for your guests and that they feel comfortable and that you have more time for them. Enough about that, I could go on about Billy and our cooking tips forever but you have to meet him yourself when you go to Canyon Ranch in the Berkshires.
Before and after dinner I like to spend my time in the library. It reminds me of the Morgan Library in New York City. It’s authentic and original and I feel at home. The fireplace is amazing and the mocktails are so delicious. They also serve tea time in that room.
Here I am in the hammock waiting for them to call me for my car to the Amtrak train station in Albany right to Penn station and then I’m a taxi ride from home. As you can see I don’t have a care in the world about my hair or my make up, I’m just like buuuutter as Barbra Streisand would say!
